MEET OUR FOUNDER

Chantale Wesley-Lamin

If Jesus is not at the helm, I don’t want it!”

Chantale Wesley-Lamin, Founder & Director

BIOGRAPHY

Chantale has served as an advocate for Criminal Justice impacted individuals and other at risk populations for over 30 years. The calling on her life was God given, always championing for the least of these, giving voice to the voiceless, inviting ALL to the table and believing that NO ONE IS BEYOND REDEMPTION. Chantale’s passion was personal as she watched her older brother spend a large portion of his life in some form of incarceration, and despite knowing better, she herself was arrested for shoplifting and criminal impersonation at the age of 19. It was these experiences and God’s relentless pursuit that fueled Chantale’s desire to provide a pathway for others who wanted to break the chains of incarceration. She is simply a manager of God’s vision.

Chantale is a believer in Jesus Christ and holds a BA in Social & Criminal Justice with Masters studies in Christian Counseling. She is certified by the NC Department of Correction as a Transitional Aftercare Network (TAN) mentor with current adult and juvenile inmate Prison Rape Elimination Act (P.R.E.A.) certification. Chantale is the recipient of the Black Achievers in Business Award, a published author and trained mediator with over 20 years experience in executive level leadership, people management, conflict resolution and professional development. She boasts her greatest accomplishments as that of a mother and wife!
